چکیده

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) occurs in patients with chronic liver damage, inflammation and cirrhosis. The facilitators involved increasing the HCC risk damaged are yet to be discovered. Diet lifestyle have a profound effect on HCC. term “gut axis” describes bidirectional relationship between gut, which both anatomically functionally related. Chronic damage is characterised by increased intestinal permeability that allows translocation of various components metabolites from gut microbiota liver, resulting fibrosis. In this review, we discuss how diet-induced changes microbiome composition, such as lipopolysaccharide lipoteichoic acid, its metabolites, bile acids, play role pathogenesis fibrosis

Alcoholic liver disease and the gut-liver axis.

Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is one of the leading causes of liver diseases and liver-related death worldwide. Of the many factors that contribute to the pathogenesis of ALD, gut-derived lipopolysaccharide (LPS) plays a central role in induction of steatosis, inflammation, and fibrosis in the liver. In this review, we discuss the mechanisms by which alcohol contributes to increased gut permeab...

Gut–Liver Axis Derangement in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most frequent type of chronic liver disease in the pediatric age group, paralleling an obesity pandemic. In the absence of significant lifestyle modifications leading to weight loss and i...

Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, the Gut Microbiome, and Diet.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common liver disorder in the world, yet the pathogenesis of the disease is not well elucidated. Due to the close anatomic and functional association between the intestinal lumen and the liver through the portal system, it is speculated that the gut microbiome may play a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of NAFLD. Furthermore, diet, which can m...
